Galaxy Defenders – boxed set models

Some newer stuff today – the boxed set models from Galaxy Defenders!

I had bought some fantasy football models from Gaspez Arts in the past, and discovered that they were one of the partners for the Galaxy Defenders… and that Raffaele Stumpo was going to be the sculptor for all the models. I’m a big fan of Raffaele’s work – his style is very distinctive, with a very unearthly look to his models… it’s very appropriate for vampires, undead, and now: aliens!

The different colours for the aliens represents their threat level – green are the weakest, blue are moderately tough, with red being the toughest. The boxed set doesnt include any red threat models, but I did get a bunch as some of the Kickstarter rewards – my plan was to paint up the entire core set first, play a couple times to see if the game was any good, then paint up all the Kickstarter extras if it turned out to be a keeper, or try to flip the whole lot on ebay if it wasnt.

Well… good news everyone: I’m working on more Galaxy Defenders models right now. 😉

Cbag out!
